What you may not know about your outer layer....

Most of us learned Human Anatomy in school and remember the three layers of our body's largest organ, (the Epidermis, Dermis, and Hypo-dermis) and also how our skin regulates our body temperature, protects us from the elements and is sensitive to sensations.
But did you know that while it also contains special cells called Melancocytes (located in the epidermis) that determines and produces our skin's color, there are other really amazing facts about this remarkable organ we frequently tend to overlook.
